Enjoy the first Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced this year in the prestigious Spanish protected area of DOP Siurana, located in Catalonia. This is a premium extra virgin olive oil made from the first cold pressing of the arbequina olives under exacting standards applied by the Siurana Regional Council. These tiny olives produce a delightfully fragrant, fruity and light flavored oil, which is great on green salads, perfect with seafood -- or just enjoyed on crusty bread. The olive groves are located along the Siurana River valley, deep in the Pyrennes Mountains very close to the French border in Cataluñya. This unique location, close to the Mediterranean Sea, results in a milder climate which produces a gentler flavored oil, with just a slight pepperiness on the finish. Read more
